I'm not sure what Jarrett's ownership stake still is or isn't, now you've got Dixie on tv who also answers to her daddy's company, TNA very much to SPIKE TV, plus you have Hogan, Nash, Angle, Bischoff, can lump in a guy like RVD who comes and goes as he pleases... throw in Russo, Flair, and maybe a few TNA lifers (like AJ) and what do you have....?
That's pretty much everyone with "stroke" in TNA... unless something changes I think we're going to see SPIKE start playing with TNA's timeslot/format soon-ish once they realise all of these stunt bookings aren't working... I'm surprised though, that some SPIKE exec hasn't told them to be more MMA like considering they are either the lead in or follow up show to SPIKE's whole MMA themed Thursday nights. I think its almost like they have to fail massively in order to succeed, because MMA is the future of wrestling. Its even funnier, because if they just capitulated to Heyman's demands, they wouldn't even need to fail in the beginning as in the interview he has pretty much stated the same. |

WWE
* It would appear as if Serena (the cute bald chick in CM Punks stable) is on her way out the door. She's sent some vague tweets about it, but still no official announcement from WWE.com future endeavouring her yet. Word is that she has had a number of "rough nights" while touring out on the road. If this is true, than there would appear to be a real double standard as its almost expected that the male wrestlers be hard drinkers. I know it breaks her character, but hasn't kayfabe been out of the closet for a bit now? * Not sure where they are going to go with this as Monday's Raw was pre-taped, but Heath Slater Broke his ankle over the weekend. Given that he was the #2-3 guy in Nexus, I don't know that it would make sense to give him the same beating that Darren "black Cena" Young got. This whole NXT storyline really is a front runner for most cursed ever. * WWE is picking up the dime on yet another rehab stint for Scott Hall. Here's hoping it sticks this time as the guy really was a talent. TNA * Sandman missed a flight, and thus TNA tapings this week. Word has it he's probably done with TNA. * TNA has released Tomko, Rosie Lottalove, and Homocide. |

NO! Not Serena Debb. I've watched her wrestling matches and I think that girl has potential. Yes, she was let go this weekend. Ironic how the stipulation last week was that if she lost the match she would be kicked out of the SES Group, a match in which she WON. I wonder what "disciplinary firing" meant on her release? Backstage attitude and drinking? Very anti-SES. Yes.
I wonder if CM Punk ever.......nevermind. WWE, get ready for WWP! Worldwide Wrestling Promotions. Apparently this new promotion based out of Florida is set to debut early next year and looking to make an IMPACT (yes, TNA watch out). They have signed 65 wrestlers to date and possibly interested in many more.

Gosh, I had forgotten what a looker she was with her hair in tact (still was even without the flowing locks).
I know Serena is not a huge part of the WWE, but she was still someone who brought "it" to the role she was given, and was a real trooper about shaving her head. If the official word does come down, she will be missed. I really hope TNA can get its act together one day and become an honest to goodness alternative to the WWE and its increasing insanity. |

...and its official, Serena Deeb has been future endeavoured
![]() I'm thinking with how the SES faction has been doing these days that a break up might be coming soon, in which case bye-bye Luke Gallows and Joey Mercury (again). If they don't have enough to do for even the belt holders, I don't know that they will have stories in place for a bunch of dead weight guys, expecially with NXT 2 and 3 coming soon (which should have Steamboat's kid in there) |

RIP Luna Vachon. Dead at 48. She was found dead Friday morning inside her mother's home. Not sure the cause of death.

I hate to say it, but I wouldn't be suprised if the autopsy comes back as suicide (or death by misadventure as they call the OD's I think?) for Luna. She's had her problems over the years, up to and including her house burning down within the last few weeks.
Mick Foley had been asking fans to send her any extra Luna merchandise they may have to help replace what she lost. While I was never a fan of the over the top character she played during the attitude era, I always respected her commitment to the character. I later learned that her character was a little akin to her real personality, what with the odd hairstyle and dress... etc. She was even married in real life I believe to David "Gangrel" Heath... who maintains that he is in fact a real vampire?!? Anyway, another great performer gone far too soon. At least this time out the WWE didn't go into full on distancing mode like they did with Cade. ***** As for the Benoit thing... I'll have to catch the link later, but from what I remember Benoit Sr. gave CB's brain to Chris Nowinski, the only true Harvard athlete.... I find that amusing on the surface that Nowinski is running around with Benoits brain, but in reality he himself retired due to head trauma and has been doing some fine work with many athletes in the area of brain trauma. |

Raw's 900th episode, plain ole' Monday night wrestling.
It seems to me that the WWE would love to capitalize on every opportunity that they have to up their ratings. Raw's 10th anniversary, 15th, 500th episode, 900th episode, STAY TUNED NEXT WEEK FOR RAW'S 901TH EPISODE!!! Raws past meets future was obviously the theme. Wasn't really expecting Hart vs. Taker, it would have been nice if they would at least lock up for the photographs before reality kicked in. Unifying the Women's title at the next PPV is a good idea. WTF is the point of a Women's title and a Diva's title? What is diva, one point better than a woman? I really think CM Punk is pissed off at WWE for firing Serena. I really do. One is to think they had either a very good friendship or more. He said, "Katie Vick, youtube it." Well....okay then........ In the weeks preceding their match at No Mercy, Triple H claimed that, several years earlier, Kane had an unrequited relationship with a woman named Katie Vick. He went on to claim that, after Vick was killed in a car crash, Kane (the driver) raped her corpse. Triple H later threatened to show video footage of Kane committing the act in question; however, the footage that finally aired showed Triple H dressed as Kane, making sexual remarks then simulating necrophilia with a mannequin in a closed casket (Which the act was immediately cut from broadcast); Kane's tag team partner The Hurricane responded the following week by showing a video of Triple H (rather, someone wearing a Triple H series of masks) getting an enema. The angle was very unpopular with fans, and was de-emphasized before the title match. Triple H went on to defeat Kane at No Mercy, unifying the two titles. Believe it or not, I've heard about the Katie Vick incident and throughout all these years I have decided to take the liberty to not see it since I missed it on TV.....I heard it was the worst storyline in wrestling history. I was not ready to hate the "sports entertainment" I loved. I rather see this....... Here is CM Punk's episode from last night's Raw

On the list of embarassing moments, I'm suprised Big Show forgot this one:
Maybe it was too painful to bring up? ![]() I've seen most of the show in clip format by now (missed it live...), and big thanks to Monkey for posting the Punk segment as that was the only one I couldn't find. That by far and away was the best segment of the night, and it was great seeing two of my favourites get time to show off their talents. I was a little dissapointed by the constant past references, mostly because it just teased about how much better the show used to be. Good job with the main event and putting the individual Nexus guys over. I agree 'Monkey, they should have at least allowed for a tie up or what ever between Hart and Taker before Barrett came out. Kudos to the WWE for letting Barrett charge in there and not behave like the usual chicken shit heel that just runs away. That being said though, he kind of did just get laid out, they should have given him even a quick moment before Taker ralied back. I guess they only look at the endings though, and Barrett got to execute his finisher on Taker, so he got his "heat" back. What the hell happened to Hart though... lights went out and he what... ran away? |

Kaval is your NXT Season 2 Winner.
Next season's NXT is all divas. Dustin Rhodes as a pro mentor for a female? Why not WWE hire this guy to mentor the diva for God sakes?

Brought to you by depends diapers, your new Main event for Bound for Glory....
Hulk Hogan vs Sanity! I know the boards will be alight with Heyman chatter, but given his recent MMA interview a few weeks ago, I just don't see it. I think its more likely that they are going to a free PPV format on SPIKE tv. Something where you get MMA/Boxing style promotions within the show (ring, ring posts ads and heavy commercials). We'll see soon enough, and I'm sure we'll be completely underwhelmed. |

This game represents one of only two video games I buy each year, with the other being the NHL series, so I'm getting kinda psyched for this one (late Oct release date though...boo)
Roster to be announced on Sept 8th, but in the interim here's whose confirmed: Taker Miz Cena Orton Bret Hart (In his old outfit... hopefully they also offer the new look) Sheamus Evan Bourne Big Show Jericho Swagger Mysterio You can add Edge, HHH, Kane, Punk, Kofi, MVP, Rhodes, and Dibiase because they are big enough names and appeared in previous years. Apparently there are going to be over 70 wrestlers in this offering. I figure 10 spots for the divas, and 30 guys to each brand. Apparently the big change in this one is something called WWE universe, which is going to be like a "smart" gm program. If you have an exhibition match between two guys, it will adjust their rivalry so that the computer almost writes feuds for everyone. You can edit it, or turn it off, but apparently its like the whole creat a story feature from last years model but smarter and lazier for the user. Should be good, I'm looking forward to it. |

Apparently Diva Tiffany has been suspended indefinitely by the WWE.
The action stems from a domestic disturbance between her and new husband Drew Mcyntyre. It is largely held that the two married quickly in order to resolve Drew's recent work visa issues, which lead to brief vacation recently for Drew while that was sorted out. To further feed the bizzareness of the whole domestic incident, it is said to have happened after the two returned from a party at the LA Playboy mansion in the company of a Bunny. Something set off a fight, and Drew must have been the calmer head in this situation because Tiffany was the one arrested. Not sure if this bodes well for either of the newlyweds future happiness or employment future with the WWE, because Drew hasn't quite gotten over as much as they would have liked. |
